Wanton Want

Couplet: opening statement

I’ll keep it short
So there’s time for a retort

Naani: to know what is missing

Noone gets everything
they want
Except for the man
  without imagination

Acrostic: want

Want must not
At any point be mistaken for
Need or values will
Tumble with greed

6 words

The greed feeds my hollow bones

Zappai: honest policy

I can assure you
This is not feigned nonchalance
I really don’t care

Weekly Theme:
Micropoetry

In the coming weeks the twisting tail
will reduce postings to three days a week.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

  1. These micro poems are great. We will miss you on the days you don’t post, but I can see how sometimes there is a need to cut back. It’s hard to come up with something fresh every day.

    1. Thank you.
The issue isn’t coming up with something new, it’s finding the time to write it down and post it. I’m 4weeksvaheaf with posts so the change won’t be noticed for a while.

  2. I applaud your ability to cut back – WP is addicting! I love this offering of micropoetry. I’ve been musing on want versus need and I feel a post coming on… and your zappai is delightful!!!

  3. I’m done wanting and deal only with what is needed, the minimalist in me. These Micro brews were on point. Poo on 3 times aweek, but I guess there are demands on your time. Will enjoy what you offer. 😉💙

      1. Totally get it dude. Am making some changes to my own blog at the moment. Will be deactivating this next Sunday and beginning a new blog. 😁
