The than-bauk is a Burmese form. The poem is conventionally written as an epigram, so it’s usually a clever or witty little poem.
Three lines
Four syllables per line
The final syllable of the first line rhymes with the third syllable of the second line and second syllable of the third line.

Untried Poetry Forms
I thought your poem was both clever and witty.

Thanks….Glad you think it makes sense. Billy says it’s rubbish.
You said you don’t know what’s going on in the pic. Billy says it’s obvious. She’s trying to metamorphosize into a he-wolf. Why didn’t we see that M? Smart boy is our Billy…..

Oh that Billy.
Very smart. I didn’t even know he-wolves existed.

Noah ( in all his wisdom, says Billy) made sure to collect a he and a she of everything. Why didn’t we think of that M? He makes me look dumb……

Very interesting form; very similar to the internal rhyme in a lot of contemporary Western poetry. Your example were tons of fun as well!

It does show similarities to Welsh and Irish forms. I’ve noticed this between the UK and east Asia.
Thank you, best I could do with the constraints.
