Relieve pressure
The Humping Speed Hump
You best beware
The wild hare
Who cannot decide
Between here and there
Graffiti

Only
When not
Done
Properly
I cross the tracks
First over
And then under
On my ride
In the confusion
I forget
Which is the

Thankyou……accepting yourself as different to the ‘norm’ is not always easy…..

True, but it is the most freeing thing one can do.

You are so right, and brought home something I’m forgetting. I always carry on about others not relaxing, loosening up and letting go, while here I’m guilty of the same……

As they say, it’s easier to see our own faults in others than ourselves.
I don’t think you need to worry to much about loosening up 👍

I think a lot of people have to think of their job and families and toe the ‘norms’ of society if you follow me. Can’t relax and let go too much and risk job security, on which family depend.
Another sticking point is what will others think?
Me? I’m retired. No job security to worry about. Too old to worry what others think. I just wanna have fun before I die. What does Sheryl Crowe sing? All I wanna do is have some fun before I die I gotta feeling I’m not the only one…. also FCS theme song …..cheers

I’m enjoying your work commute poems. They offer a window to the real world around us…when we take the time to look and see.

Thank you, I’m happy to hear that.
It is a beautiful trail.
Well said. That is one of the things to take away from this week’s posts, Inspiration is everywhere, look around and see.
Thanks again for commenting.

These are all wonderful views on your daily ride, wouldn’t it be wonderful if it didn’t matter which side of the tracks you rode. Truth in the spray can. Precise cuts can shave time of your ride as long as you don’t run into speed bumps 🚴🏼♂️😉💙

Thank you. As a foreigner I’m not even sure which is the wrong side 🤣
Rabbits make no sense to me or themselves I believe.
Glad to have you along for the ride 😉💚

So much cleverness! The Humping Speed Hump caused some laughter. Our old license plates said “Wander Indiana” with the Tolkien quote bandied about on a regular basis!

Thanks Weird place for a Tolkien quote. I wonder what the Englishman would have thought about it 🤔

nice take on graffiti. i miss when subway trains were completely covered in colorful pieces. a vibrant part of a new york city that will likely never return again.

Same. In Melbourne there was so much graffiti you wouldn’t need reading material on transport.
They are very particular about public art forms here in Helsinki. Leaves much of the city neat but sterile I feel.
