The Devil’s Eye & Balls

“An animal’s eyes have the power to speak a great language.”

Martin Buber

The devil’s eye
Is watching me
On my territory
Switching in
and out sight
Like a fireball
Of light
I will catch you
I swear it true
Then I’ll paw, claw
And devour you

(Excerpt from the stage show ‘Cats,’ laser pointer scene)

Praying on a Tennis Ball

Oh, heavenly delight
Within my sight
A fuzz of green
A flash of light
I wish I may, I wish might
Hold you in my mouth tonight

  1. That top photo definitely caught my attention! I found this one delightful. As to how much we spend on cat food, I just got back from the vet’s where I buy ‘special diet’ food. Over $100 for two bags of dry cat food! But I have three cats now (one just adopted from a very ill friend who couldn’t take care of him) so I guess that’s not outrageous for such a brood, all with special medical conditions.

    1. I can only wonder what is going through that poor cats head.
We have a single cat. I think the special dietary food costs us about 40-50 euros a month.
I couldn’t imagine having three and I’m sure our sole cat couldn’t either 😂

  2. That kitty is very cute! The picture is incredibly funny 🤣🤣. Indeed animas have the power to see beyond human eyes. Do keep sharing more such thought provoking posts in the near future.
Don’t forget to go through my articles as well and drop in your feedbacks.
