I enjoyed the whole post, but I laughed at the end of Nose Brain. I knew about the Egyptian process of removing the brain through the nose. They thought all thought came from the heart! But I was not expecting that ending at all! I love a good surprise.

I watched a documentary about indigenous tribes in the South American rain forest. They believed that diarrhea or a runny nose was the brains leaking out so the treatment (especially in children) was to press against the hard palate! We are all worried about losing brain cells yet today many killed brain cells with green beer!!
