The Wind
The higher winds
carry and disperse
the final ashes
of man and beast alike
The Worm
Nine out of ten worms
can not tell
the difference between
a peasant and a king
The Lamb
A young lamb chews on cud
And then
proceeds to choke
on another mouthful of fresh grass

The oneness? We choke, we decompose, we are scattered? Seems the stanza are backwards – but that’s just my OCD talking…

The were written as stand alone naani along a common thread. But you are right, it would work well as a single poem if the order was reversed.
