Revival

Winter left me withered
As the cold waves broke my back
The bread and bloodlines severed
Then the ice began to crack

haiku:cherry blossom fame

turn your icy head
winter you have met your match
cherry blossom fame

Cherry blossoms, or sakura, symbolize the transience of life, which is a major theme in Buddhism.

    1. That’s true for now. I think a couple of generations and the seasons won’t resemble what we grew up knowing. I hope I’m wrong but I’ve seen the change in lifetime already.
