Colourful Reasons & Delusions

Despite the forecast, live like it’s spring.

Lilly Pulitzer

Where’s your coat?

Don’t need it.

It’s minus ten!

I’m living like it’s spring.

No, you’re living like an idiot.

Flowers, trees
Sun and breeze
Spring is the reason
My heart knows
And so it grows
In time with the season

~spring~colour~love~

Life in dust
a holy spring resplendent
complete verve and trust

Colour should
embrace vibrance and variety
for all that is good

Live to dare
throw caution to the wind
love is in the air

Holi is a popular ancient Hindu festival, also known as the “festival of spring”, the “festival of colours”, and the “festival of love”. The festival signifies the triumph of good over evil.

Spring will come and so will happiness. Hold on. Life will get warmer.

Anita Krizzan

And then comes global warming.
Hold in there. It’s about to get a lot warmer.

    1. Thanks.
Not much left here. And we are lucky to have snow in winter these days.
The polar ice caps have melted between 15 and 40% since the 80s. Some scientists are saying they could be gone by the 2040s.

      1. Some sad state of things that will be realized probably when they are gone leaving nothing behind for future generations — that is if these generations happen to exist post all of the ice caps melt away.

      2. I believe most are aware of the problems we face, only the ignorant could be so blind not to see.

I fear for the lives of my children every day.
Maybe when society as a whole is impacted we might have real change.
For now most consider it someone else’s problem.

    1. Thanks bluey. A little all over the place to end the week. I try to keep my preaching on environmental issues and the like to a minimum 😉💚

  1. I pack light. But my husband packs lighter – he headed off to Europe for a week or so once in January with only jeans and t-shirts. I suggested he pack a jumper, but he said he could just put 2 t-shirts on…

    1. Hilarious. I’m about the same, I travelled around the world for a year with 2 pairs of pants and a few t shirts. I think it’s a gender thing. Women ask men to pack then critique every choice, thinking we put thought into it. We are thoughtless beings 🤣

  2. Hi mouse,
It’s warming up here, but we have rains. Still, there is a shift in the air – maybe it’s hope, a sign of optimism … not sure .
We have a long way to get out of this pandemic, but spring certainly helps.
    Stay well,
    eden
