Burning Questions of the Beyond

“The books are to remind us what asses and fools we are.”

Ray Bradbury
Fahrenheit 451

Piku: ban the book

Books cause pain
Truth!
Paper cuts are proof

So far in 2022, there have been attempts to ban or restrict access to 1,651 different titles, up from challenges to 1,597 books in 2021.
Times article: Here

It’s Fahrenheit 451 time, baby!

What remains
After leaving?………………………….
…………………………….the absence

Lune: honest future

Always remember
When we speak
The future listens

This isn’t failing
I’m not finished yet
Maybe, I just wanted
to get my feet wet

“That’s the good part of dying; when you’ve nothing to lose, you run any risk you want.”

Ray Bradbury
Fahrenheit 451

Fun with Numbers:
The number of people older than you never increases.

Bed, Bath and Beyond

Considering how many die
In the bathroom or bed
The afterlife must be filled
with PJs and nudity
as far as the eye can see
So I’ve thought ahead
It’s suit and tie when I go beddy bye
And Speedos in the shower for me

Consider the curtain of cloud
A blink of the great eye
Passing by

    1. I was enraged when I saw that stat. Made me think of Suess being banned earlier this year. While I understand, the books were published in a different time and were deemed acceptable. Banning them now teaches nothing and only destroys the proof of how we have progressed.
