Sound of a Bare Soul

Tricubes: soul bared

barefoot walk
grass dewy
toes tickled

I feel calm
with the earth
sole to soul

many thanks
to you who
stole my shoes

Hay(na)ku: shoelaces

fall
let loose
death row noose

Senryü: end ready

I followed the rope
disturbed when I found the end
that I was ready

Abbreviated Haiku: resounding impact

silence
the pin drops
broken

Lune: audiosyncratic

will you keep singing
in silence
when the music stops

Weekly Theme:
Micropoetry

In the coming weeks the twisting tail
will reduce postings to three days a week.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

  1. Sometimes I’ll read your posts as one long poem, instead of micro poetry, and it always gives it a whole new meaning! If you can rearrange your poems and they still sound good then you are a good writer! Just thought I’d tell you this 🤣

    1. Thank you. That’s something I work on achieving. They usually have a uniting theme, so reading them as a chain should add depth to any single reading. Thanks again 😊
