Whichever way you care to slice
the end result is always nice
the proof is in the pie
More than just the sum of its parts
it’s made with the love from our hearts
shared between you and I
Poem Between Teenage Sisters
I hate your face so many ways
so much it consumes most my days.
I can not change that fact.
And if you died I would be glad
I would waste no time feeling sad.
Please, give my jacket back.

Yes, I can attest more is not always better! I am very sensitive to some tastes and I can’t tolerate spicy foods like those with much fewer taste buds!! Sisters – there were never such devoted sisters….

I guess tolerance and can be trained, at least that’s what I’m trying with my children 🤣
Such passion between siblings, always.

Oh sweets my downfall 😩
This was a clever…. the proof is in the pie
More than just the sum of its parts
Oh having two girls both a year apart as teens, I can so relate. Even now no longer teens the animosity still lingers, they are so different.
As always, twisty, a good job! 😉💙

Same. Chocolate is my last vice.
My kids are still a little under a decade from their teens. From everything I’ve been told, I’m not looking forward to it.
Thanks, bluey ☺️💚

Lol don’t worry that decade will fly by before you know it, so enjoy your chocolate now. You’re welcome. 😁💙

I’m worried about that 😂 I have to hide the chocolate. Not looking forward to the day when they can finally reach it 🤣💚

I’ve witnessed this interaction. Thankfully I was not one of the parties. Sisters are intense!

Two fabulous poems, but the second one is so visceral and fantastic. It made me cringe. The taste bud thing . . . maybe that’s why some people like Brussels sprouts because they can taste the subtle yumminess, and some people don’t like them because they don’t have enough taste buds to really taste them.

Thank you.
The emotion between siblings can become so heated. Like life long cell mates in a prison in a way.
Exactly. Although this year’s sprout crop has been a bitter for my liking.
The chilli tolerance some have can be explained away as well.

Team Edward or team Jacob?

Neither.
One, a teenage boy falls in love with a baby and the other, a man over 100 years old falls in love with a 15 year old girl. A bit creepy in my mind.

Jeez M, sounds like you’re in for a pretty rough decade ahead if what they’re saying above is true…….
Love the two ladies, one sashaying the ‘The’ the other the ‘Tail’….Question…which is the ‘sweet’ and which the ‘sour’….
I’ve gotta say something about my taste buds – the’re shot. Too much chocolate. Think there’s a message for you there M…..

I have one daughter and two sons, luckily. Brothers don’t have the depth of animosity that sisters can amass. At least I hope not.
I guess it’s perspective with sweet and sour.
I’ve liked mine with alcohol, drugs, and chilli 😂

I have 2 sisters and 2 daughters, so I understand the poem of the two teenaged sisters quite well.

My deepest sympathies. I have one sister and 1 daughter. I’ve observed this behaviour as an uncomfortable bystander.
