Palindrome: Order & Pain

Poetry: the best words in the best order.

Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Pain,
such is existence
That knowledge numbs
Dreams circling
To escape
Where life compels chaos
So reigns
ORDER
reigns,
so chaos compels life
Where escape
To circling dreams
Numbs knowledge
That existence is such pain

Palindrome:
Also Known as Mirrored Poetry, starts with an initial poem and then hinges on a line that usually repeats directly in the middle of the poem before working through the rest of the lines in reverse order.

  1. It’s is great. I thin you did a wonderful job.
Palindrome will never cease to remind me of an impacting movie I saw once, Lovers Of The Arctic Circle. A movie of palindromes and it was really gorgeous.

    1. Thank you. It took a lot of rewording.
I don’t know the movie. If it is written in palindromes I am truly impressed! I struggled to write a single poem, I could imagine filling a 2 hour script.

    1. Thank you. This was a tricky but fun one. You can also do it by letter but that is beyond the level of torture I’m willing to tolerate.
