The Easter Hippo & The Incomplete Bible

The Ferrero Group will be releasing its own Easter mascot for the 2021 season, as a rival to the classic Easter Bunny.
A friendly chocoholic, social media has dubbed ‘The Pogo Hippo.’ An aquatic mammal which bounces about barfing a spray of eggs with each spring of his pogo.
It seems to make as much sense as a giant rabbit with a wicker basket, so the masterminds behind the Kinder Surprise might be onto a winner.
Will this publicity stunt pay off, only time will tell.

My children demanded
early Easter eggs
So I gave them eggs
hard boiled
Dyed red as crucified blood
As is the tradition

Depending on definition
There is very little difference
Between a tool and a fool

Scholars have unearthed ancient documents they believe to be unknown pages of the bible. One of particular interest reads :

All characters and events depicted in this book are entirely fictitious. Any similarity to actual events or persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

All efforts are being made to verify the authenticity of the recently discovered pages.

I’m trying not to read to much into it
But it’s funny to find dead smack
In the middle of Easter week
April Fools Day

Weekly Theme:
Easter
