Love Mad

There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness.

Friedrich Nietzsche

Stockholm Love Story

You held me
Captive
And I felt the rush
I didn’t realise
I wanted your touch
I could not go now
Even if you let me
I will never again
Be
free
Without you

One Date is ALL it Takes

I’ll give you my number
Please, call me
but you won’t
probably
We’ll see
I’ll wait two days
Maybe three
And then I’ll know
I’ll track your phone
Stalk your home
It’s only been one date
But I know
I love you
What we have is true
And I won’t stop
Until you
Know it too

Clay Hearts

Give a heart wings
Let it soar on love
As it takes flight
like a clay pigeon
Ready the rifles

For no reason

It’s break up season

    1. Thank you πŸ’š I was trying to show the many faceted negative experiences of love. Illogical, crazy love. If I had more time there probably would have been 5 to this set.

  1. All great in their own right (‘One Date’ was my fave) and brilliantly express some of the different aspects to ‘love’.
I’ll be sad when this week ends πŸ–€πŸ–€

    1. Thank you little one. I think the trios have added to overall enjoyment for readers, myself included.
I’m going to try doing this kind of thing more often in future, if time allows.
Love might have to wait until February next year to have its own week again πŸ˜‰πŸ’š

  2. That last one is so true. With 2 sons I know that the pressure to provide the perfect Valentine’s Day experience has led to many a pre-Feb 14th breakup!! And less expensive in the short term.

    1. We’ve all heard of those break ups that come out of nowhere. Never more so than around holidays.
Single and alone is a very cost effective situation to be in February.
