Observe & Philander

For the two of us, home isn’t a place. It is a person. And we are finally home.

Stephanie Perkins

Philandering

It was my love that set you free
I gave you everything you’d need
I thought you were happy with me

You were perfect, too good to be true
That’s where I should have guessed
That there was something more to you

With your simple requests I finally knew
You wanted to have your own time
Which was fine, I wanted mine too

I just wish you’d been honest with me
The true reason you’d leave
Was to spend with your other family

I would have said no, if I had known that
Now we are broken, and you have to go
My heart is to weak for a philandering cat

Monostich: Tell Tale

Home is where the heart is; but they’ll never find it.

American (Crapley) Cinquain:
Look with Love

Beauty
is all around
if you know the secret
That you need only to observe
with love

Love

    1. Thank you.
I often think about that cats and dogs movie. Like what if there is this whole underground network if cats.
I look at my cat everyday trying to find an answer, so far, she remains silent.
