Love & Hate

Love and hate form a circle
Round and round they go

They bleed into one another
Hand in hand, to and fro

Senryu: The Price

The price of true love
is the potential of it
becoming pure hate

I looked up multiple definitions

of hate in preparation

of this week’s posts.

As I read,

I realised,

like love,

no combination of words

can accurately describe

the feeling of hate.

Hate, like love, is beyond words.

    1. Thanks charmer. I thought you might say that 😏
I’m not much of a hater so I don’t think I did hate justice. Sorry in advance πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

      1. No need to apologise to me my friend! 😁

And don’t worry – your humour, kindness and downright decency shine through here every day.

We’ll let you off with some ‘hate’ this week and then I’ll happily take my crown back! πŸ˜‰πŸ€ͺπŸ–€

      2. Close to the kindest and most flattering thing anyone has ever said to me. Thank you.

I’ll make it up with love next week πŸ˜‰ let’s hope I don’t taint your crown too much before then πŸ‘‘πŸ’š

  1. All of them novel in one way or another. However I read the words “to and fro” and had to smile. The uvula is referred to as the “to and fro” in my family and when ever I read it I have that image in my mind…

    1. That’s a cute name for it. I’ve never thought of giving it a name. Everything coming to mind right now is rather disturbing.

You always hear things like, ‘he stuck his tongue down her throat,’ or, ‘his tongue was so deep in her mouth he was licking her tonsils.’ For a change I’d love to hear someone say ‘his tongue gave her uvula a good battering.’
