Krampus

The curved horns pierced the Arctic veil
reins perched in swatches of matted black hair
Cloven hooves stride ahead a whipping tail
unleashed, a forked tongue tastes the December air

The Devils restraint, he thrashes his chain
links of fixed bells clatter with a warning twitch
Prepared to lash out with bitter disdain
he brandishes a torturous birch wood switch

The sack langouring on his back fast to deploy
captures souls destined for Hell
At each door hear, he utters his cunning ploy
bring me the children, I only mean well

      1. Itโ€™s excellent. I have it downloaded on Prime and Iโ€™ve watched the whole series about three times. My favorite character is the werewolf. It is great with witty banter.

    1. Agreed. I think I was in my teens when I first heard of Kampus.
I compiled a list of features, I think some are omitted to lighten the fear.
I doubt parents tell their children Kampus will come and take you to hell in a sack. Unless he is hungry, then he will just eat you where you stand.
