We Are Home

Nerves reach the iris of the sky
An azure reassurance up on high
The eye winks, anticipating prayer
Fingers clasp shut releasing air
A sermon preached in shifting leaves
Form a cocoon of unity each believes
Answers in the silence roam
Every one whispers ‘we are home’

    1. I agree the city can be confining. I remember reading that spending a day walking in Bangkok has the same effect as smoking a whole pack of cigarettes 🤣
