Children’s Rhyme: The Plow & The Cow

Archive Week

This week I will posting unreleased material from last year and also reposting some reworked versions of my earliest wordpress posts which didn’t receive much of an audience.

Enjoy.

When a snow plow is clearing roads
Nothing stands in the way
But he met his match regarding loads
With what he came across today

Because a snow plow can’t plow a cow
If it decides it wants stay
The plowman he tried to reason
But moo is all the cow would say

You see, the cow wanted to sit
Waste the day away
Maybe crochet for a bit
And refused to move out the way

The plowman had to submit
The cow was there to stay
He grabbed his kit, then started to knit
And sat with the cow all day
