Children’s Rhyme: The Artist’s Eye

The picture in your mind
Differs from your eye
With an artistic brush
A painter separates the lie

Truth, beauty and nature
Are all one and the same
A message and a meaning
Captured in a frame

When they paint a picture
Visually we can see
But sight is a unique thing
Everyone sees differently

Pablo Diego José Francisco de Paula Juan Nepomuceno María de los Remedios Cipriano de la Santísima Trinidad Ruiz y Picasso
(yes, that is his real name)

  1. Oh yes…Art is art because it leaves itself open to discussion and interpretation..How dull if we all saw it the same.. The beauty of visual art, or written art is that it lies in the eye of the beholder:)
