        less is for continuous things, fewer for discrete… sorry, couldn’t help myself, too much marking….

      3. Thanks. While that is grammatical true, since the reign of Alfred the Great, a time when Old English was spoken, less has been used in the same way that fewer is currently used.
        – 2 marks for semantics 😉
