Lost in the Mail

Three months
It took
Your letter to arrive to me

By horse
Carriage
And then by sea

That made it much more
Special to me

Three seconds
It took
Your email to arrive to me

With one
button
Sent electronically

Another cat video?
Why do you send these to me?

World Post Day

started in 1969 and happens each year on October 9, the anniversary of the Universal Postal Union, which started in 1874 in Switzerland. The UPU was the start of the global communications revolution, introducing the ability to write letters to others all over the world.

Postal President:

The US Postal Service releases stamp of President Trump.

Immediately following the release, reports arrived at the White House informing the president that the adhesive on the stamps was faulty and refused to stick.
Infuriated that his own stamps were not working, Trump conducted a $1,500,000 federal investigation to find out what was happening. After eliminating all of the possibilities during manufacturing, they observed the post office to see if the fault was on the consumers end.
They soon found their answer β€” people were spitting on the wrong side.
