Sunflowers reach toward the sun
Fate entwined, never one
Honeybee’s lifetime serves the young
Refined palette, honeyed tongue
Raindrops streak the windowpane
Tears fallen, gone again
White noise as the static creeps
Music lost, radio weeps
Blood shed on an open field
Muddy soil, wound healed
Future presents an uphill climb
Past repeats, every time
