A sign of good harvest
The knowledge you are blessed
I accept the seed
With time, my soul is freed
Honest currency pays the toll
With abstinence a guiding role
I renounce all greed
Enlighten me, my soul is freed
His hand on my shoulder
When life has grown colder
All the force I need
Soon, my soul is freed
I walk tall to my grave
The last steps I brave
I will not plead
With courage, my soul is freed
The holy spirit in my veins
Relieves me of my earthly pains
The wounds no longer bleed
Finally, my soul is freed
