Blowing in the Wind (Equalty Edition)

Song by Bob Dylan and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Edited by The Twisting Tail

How many roads must someone walk down
Before you call them human?
How many seas must white doves sail
Before they sleep in the sand?
Yes, ‘n’ how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they’re forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind

Yes, ‘n’ how many years can a mountain exist
Before it’s washed to the sea?
Yes, ‘n’ how many years can some people exist
Before they’re allowed to be free?
Yes, ‘n’ how many times can someone turn their head
And pretend that they just doesn’t see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind

Yes, ‘n’ how many times must someone look up
Before they can see the sky?
Yes, ‘n’ how many ears must someone have
Before they can hear people cry?
Yes, ‘n’ how many deaths will it take till they know
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind
The answer is blowin’ in the wind

I know it’s obvious and it’s been said before.
World problems are everyone’s problems.
Time should not be spent focusing on our differences, we must remember the simple fact,
We are all human.

    1. Thanks. I agree. Humanity suffers when tested. This isn’t a Hollywood blockbuster. There’s no united front for our species.
Each of us is different and that’s a wonderful thing but we spend so much time focusing on that fact that it has caused a divide between genders, ages, and nations.
