Limerick: Not Getting Out of Bed

My eyes are swimming around in my head
There’s no chance I’m getting out of this bed
I’ve lost all hope
But I know how I’ll cope
I’ll stay here and wish I was dead

    1. Thank you. I’m all good now πŸ˜‰ my posts are written 2 weeks in advance.
The whole family was sick when I wrote this. You will have to bare with a few negative posts over the next few days πŸ˜œπŸ’š

      1. Ah, please…

You have to bare with a lifetime of negative posts from me! πŸ˜‰

Forgot you were an advance poster… Glad to read you are all better now.

Being ill (and not getting to wallow in it) sucks πŸ˜”πŸ–€

      2. The negative posts are becoming less frequent. I think we are having an affect on you πŸ˜‰
Yup working on posts for the second week of March now.
I know, I just wanted a day to sleep it off. Maybe in 10 years πŸ˜‚πŸ’š

      3. Here’s hoping that effect continues! πŸ‘

I’m working hard to get to 1000 posts in time for my one year WP anniversary on 1st March.

Time will tell to see if I make it! πŸ–€

  1. Wishing to stay there like dead
won’t solve a thing in your life
& not getting up from your bed
is not the right way to cope
although you lost all your hope
    you are there breathing alive
& inside there’s still some light.

    1. Thank you 😊
much more inspirational than anything I could muster.
This post was a bit of an exaggeration. 3 weeks of flu with 3 sick children. Then I got sick. Parents don’t have the luxury of being sick in bed.
